I am currently a student at Red Deer College and am writing a paper on the controversy surrounding the Calgary Stampede Chuckwagon racing. While searching for publications on animal behavior/emotion I came across your articles and really enjoyed your extensive knowledge on the subject matter! I was wondering what your thoughts are surrounding this event and chuckwagon racing itself. Based on your extensive knowledge surrounding animal physiology and psychology I want to know if you believe that this type of horse racing is unethical or do you believe that since thoroughbreds are bred to race that it is a good fit for them?
